The Ville Lumière of the Blenio Valley?

Chronicle from Dangio #1

A view of the new bridge lit from behind during a spring storm this afternoon.

Today I discovered that Dangio, my new home village in the Swiss Alps, was the first village in the Blenio Valley to have electricity in 1903 (source). Like Paris (1881), Dangio is the Ville Lumière of Blenio.

The correlation with the photograph is therefore very subtle, especially since the undersigned lives practically next door to what used to be the power station inside the building that housed the Cima Norma Chocolate Factory, closed in 1968.
